Bike to Work Week Kickoff with Mayor Coleman

Hours: 8:00 - 10:00 am
Description: Leave your car at home for Bike to Work Week! Meet at the Statehouse with hundreds of other cyclists to get the week started off right. Hang out before work. Meet other cyclists. Usher in an era of transportation renaissance in Columbus. Mayor Coleman presiding. (Contact us to sign up your business for the Battelle Bicycle Challenge and see what cycling can do for you!)

Description: Start off Bike to Work Week with this great documentary about how our cities have become gridlocked and what we can do about it. Panel discussion and mini-workshop to follow. Presented by the University Area Enrichment Association.

Bicycling and the Law

Third Hand Bike Co-op Open House

Description: Come check out Columbus' bicycle co-op in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Learn how to keep your bicycle running great and save money on repairs. Meet other enthusiastic cyclists.

Green Drinks Bike Hop

Location: Meet at Tip Top, then to Surly Girl and Ruby Tuesdays
Hours: 7:00 - 11:00pm
Description: Pedal from pub to pub with other cyclists. Each stop features a guest speaker on sustainability-related topics. The final stop showcases three great local bands.

Spring Cyclist Pit Stop

Date: May 16
Location: 15th & High St. in Wexner Plaza
Hours: 2:00 - 6:00pm
Description: Ohio's biggest bicycle party! See all your favorite local bike shops and bicycle organizations including Consider Biking. Be entertained by original bicycle-themed music, the Piano Peddler, Jason's Bicycle Generator, live art, and so much more!

Bike OSU Tour of Columbus

Location: meet at the OSU North Oval
Hours: 11:00am
Description: What's the best way to see Columbus? On a bike, of course! Join us for a relaxed group ride around Columbus. See local history, unique shops, and practice your road skills in the safety of a large group. Our tour finishes at the Bicycle Art Show in Grandview.
