Ride of Silence
May 21, 2008. Around 500 cyclists took to the streets to honor cyclists who have been harassed, hurt, or killed on Columbus' roadways. It was an emotionally moving 10-mile ride from the Statehouse up High Street to Clintonville and back. Thanks to Third Hand Bike Co-op, Ghost Bikes have been placed at several locations where cyclists have been killed by drivers. See NBC's coverage here.
